Context with some of the steps.. eg DotNetObjectInvoker

Dec 5, 2007 at 8:22 PM
I've been using the DotNetObjectInvokerStep to do some stuff as part of my unit testing. I noticed it didn't seem to allow the passing of context items into paramenters for the call to the .net method.

So I've made some changes to the DotNetInvokerStep.cs file that checks for the takeFromCtx attribute and uses that value if it exists.

Am I barking up the wrong tree here, is there some known way to do this already? Otherwise can I contribute this code?

Cheers
Adam.

I noticed the same problem with XmlValidationStep but only at the XPath level, so you cannot sub the value you are checking for from the context. It was a very simple fix and I have submitted the change.

Are there any other known cases where the context cannot be used?
