Auto-generating BizUnit test cases from Excel

Hi Kevin,

You blog refers to clients that you have worked with that define their test matrixes in Excel, and then auto-generate the BizUnit test cases from Excel. I am trying to do the same - I would be grateful if you could please elaborate on the approach.

Many thanks,

Hi Ravi,

The way most people do this is to create an Excel spreed sheet to represent your test matrix, then write some automation code to generate the BizUnit Xml test scrips from Excel, which can then be run. The problem is this approach requires quite a lot of custom coding. I've started working on BizUnit 3.0 where I'm trying to make this massively easier. Hopefully more on that soon.

Thanks,

Kevin
